About the Academy

Underwent Academy believes the knowledge of magic belongs to all who can wield it. We are dedicated to teaching the arts of the arcane and furthering the skills of those willing to endure strenuous studies.
The Underwent Academy has been standing for as long as any castor can remember. It is the leading school for the Arcane Arts within Europe. At the age of 11 students leave their local schools and enter through Underwent's heavy double doors. Here students are placed within their house, each is home to a specific magical talent. Whichever aptitude a student shows places them within their house for the next 8 years.
The Academy consists of 6 (six) buildings. Each house is held in their own estate with the main Castle Arctryn sitting in the center. Castle Arctryn houses classes for 1st-4th year students covering the basis of all Magics as well as common studies. Each House Estate contains dormitories and classrooms for their specific studies. There is also a Mess Hall and Kitchen behind Castle Arctryn and an Athletics Building.
Underwent has been founded and re-founded in pieces since the early 13th Century (as best as we can date). Originating as just the Castle Arctryn to teach magic to those residing in the area, slowly the castle added on more and more building to accommodate the growing number of students traveling to learn and the appearance of more skilled Castors and Alchemists wishing to teach their specific crafts. It is estimated that by 1596 the six buildings now on the grounds had all been erected. Underwent Academy is proud of it's founders and have come to name the buildings (and thus the houses) after the obsessions of their founders.

Extracurricular Activities

More than just Magic is taught at the Academy. We are proud to announce that as of the newest School Year we have expanded our non-magical offerings to the following:

• Language (Ancient and Modern, please check our class list to see the available languages this school year)
• Band
• Cheerleading
• Track
• Rock Climbing
• Football (Soccer)
• And many Student Lead Clubs!
