House Wyvern; School of Enchantment & Illusion

Illusion and Charm intermingle in this house. Swaying hearts and talking images into reality, those of House Wyvern are comfortable with the strange and different. As it usually means their spells are working. Reality twists within their words and all seems possible if they speak long enough. Enemies turn to Loyal Allies, the Desert to an Ocean. Nothing is what it Seems in House Wyvern.

Founded by Sture, a castor renowned for his creative charms. Their further study into illusion proved useful for fields as ranged as espionage, service work, and general house keeping. This circular building outwardly shows 3 floors. However those familiar with it's twisting halls will know it is 5 stories tall and filled with mysteries. It's not known if there is anyone outside their founder who has mapped the entire complex. Not everything is what it seems in House Wyvern. The easily accessible halls hold, dorms, class rooms, and large open halls for experimentation.

House Kraken; School of Abjuration & Evocation

Righteous in Duty

The strong willed, those with unfailing loyalty, mixed with the like who yearn for power. This house is brimming with potential for the Great and Terrible. The Students of this house have a strong connection with the Great Life Force, giving them a natural aptitude for summoning and sapping Magic from the area. Castors from this specialty make for deadly opponents are typically go on to be dedicated to specific areas as defenders.

Famous for its founder, Sir Valerius. This renowned castor was the first to create a protective spell that could cover an entire castle grounds, saving the school from harm during sieges in the early centuries. This dedication to protective spells only furthered the longer the school stood untouched. One of the first to claim the land for schooling, House Manticore is settled in a large manor type building, the west wing dedicated to dorms and the east to classes, libraries, and studies. The manor is 3 stories tall and sits at the northern side of the school grounds.

House Draugr; School of Divination

Progress Through Wisdom

Known for their Prophets and Mystics, this house is more forward focused then taking in the present. Students of Draugr are typically gifted with foresight beyond what magic can typically supplement. These visions can come in many forms, some extremely hard to recognize without natural sight or studying the arts of fortune. (House Draugr is the only house to no longer have a second primary magic after backlash from communities and their own Seers)

Founded by Philomena, a castor both famous and infamous for his advances in medical sciences, then truly known for his prophetic dreams once [REDACTED]. The building containing House Draugr was once a crude hospital and moratorium now entirely renovated to hold classes and dorms. The building consists of 5 floors and 3 lower levels. The upper 2 levels are for dorms, the bottom 3 are filled with class rooms, laboratories, a library, and common study spaces. The lower 3 basement levels are off limits to students and even most faculty.

House Chimera; School of Conjuration & Transmutation

Dedicated to the application of Alchemy to Magic and furthering the known capabilities of Castors. House Chimera is for those who want to create, to change the world, quite literally with their own hands. This house is committed to sharing knowledge and pursing the truth.

Founded by an Alchemist by the name of Levente Never truly taking the title castor, this gallant Alchemist forged the way for the common man to have access to recipes and materials for Transmutation. She funded her way into the magical academy and set up shop in a small annex building to teach alchemy. Eventually branching out into Conjuration after marrying a lead researcher of the magic. What started as a small annex has gained many additions, creating a strangely shaped building consisting of 4 floors. The small base floor houses storage rooms, the next few levels class rooms, and the top 2 floors are dedicated . The lower basement is one large lab for Transmutation and alchemical studies.
